Indian Army has come up with notification of TGC 118 i.e Technical grant commission of which online submission of forms will start on 15 May 2013.
The eligibility for the course commencing in January 2014 is mentioned in the advertisement . Applicants who wish to apply for TGC 118 course need to be mentally and physically fit to undergo rigorous training given at OTA. Minimum education qualification is engineering in the branches notified in official advertisement.
If you are an engineer or about to complete engineering degree, then you may consider applying for this TGC 118 course to become an officer.
You can apply Online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 15th May 2013.
Last date for online application is 13 June 2013.

Indian Army is about to recruit engineers for its Technical branch as commissioned officers.
Technical Graduate Course is conducted by Indian Army to give required training to all recommended candidates by various Services Selection Boards. Generally the course will be of one year and on successful completion, passed out cadets will become commissioned officers of Indian Army.
Filling
up of online Application:
While
filling online application it is advisable to keep the relevant documents
readily available as details are to be filled as per matriculation and other
educational certificates. Visit website joinindianarmy.nic.in and proceed as
follows:-
(a)
Click on Officers Menu button. Go to How to apply button and then click apply online
for the particular entry on the home page.
(b)
Fill the online registration form. Tips to assist in filling up fields have
been provided as you click on each field.
(c)
Before clicking the submit button it should be checked whether all details entered
in the form are correct as you will not be able to make any corrections
after
saving the record.
(d)
After submitting the form and acknowledgement of successful submission generated
roll number and the buttons of print and save the application will appear. It
is advisible to first save the online appliation and then take a print out.
Process about submission of Forms
Once you submit online form on the website i.e. www.joinindianarmy.nic.in you will be provided with an candidate application ackowledgement no..
After submitting online application, candidates are
required to obtain two copies of the application printout. One copy of the
print out application duly signed and affixed photograph attested by Gazzetted
Officer there on and attested copies of 10th Class Certificate, 12th Class
certificate alongwith Degree/ Provisional
Degree of B.E/B.Tech or marksheets of eight semesters of B. E/ B.Tech in case
of TGC candidates, and alongwith MA/M.Sc degree/ provisional degree and
marksheets of MA/ M.Sc of all years/semesters in case of AEC candidates, are to
be sent by Regd Post to
“Directorate
General of Recruiting
(Rtg-6),
TGC, Sectlon, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066".
The last date of receipt of such printouts of online
applications is 20 Jun 2013 while forwarding these applications the words “Online
application for TGC - 118 and the Roll No.............“ or “ Online Application
for AEC and the Roll No .........” as the case maybe, must be written boldly outside the
envelope. The second copy of the printout of online application form and all
the above certificates in original alongwith two attested photocopies are to
be carried to the selection Centre by the candidate. Original will be returned
after verification by the selection centres.
Candidates must submit· only one application.
Receipt of multiple applications from the same candidate will result in
cancellation of candidature.
After Sending Application form by Regd. Post Candidature will be reviewed by the officials & based on that on a particular cutoff score in the qualifying eam candidates will be called for SSB that can last for 7-8 days if selectd & which will consists for various intrview rounds of candidates.
